Sarow Names  

There is not much information for the Sarow family.  Wilhelm Friedrich Sarow was married to Anna Wilhelmine Ernestine Bahr on May 26th, 1887 at North Brisbane Lutheran Church, Nth Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.  Anna's date of birth is listed as April 25th, 1867.  They had seven children and it appears that Anna brought a daughter into the marriage - Augusta Bahr (February 15, 1884 - October 17, 1963 or 70).  Of the children of the marriage, only one survived past childhood - my grandmother, Sophie Wilhelmine Ernestine Sarow/Vieritz.

Ernst Gottfried SAROW (13/10/1891 – 20/9/1895)
Franz SAROW (12/9/1894 – 3/11/1894)
Dorothea SAROW (12/9/1894 – 5/11/1894)
(Franz and Dorothea were twins)
Theodore Ferdinand SAROW (16/12/1895 – 7/3/1897)
Elsie Dorothy SAROW (17/5/1899 – 1899) 

Another account states that there was a daughter, Wilhelmine SAROW, who died in 1907, but omits Elsie Dorothy SAROW.

Wilhelm died January 29, 1925 and is buried at Toowong Cemetery, Queensland.  Anna died August 9, 1927 and is also buried at Toowong Cemetery.  Buried with the parents are the six children who did not survive childhood.
